Those living in Australia, have you heard of GoodnessMe Box? There’s a lot of similar subscription boxes in the US but not too many here in Aus. GoodnessMe Box is a great way to try out healthy products for a fraction of their retail cost & find new favourite snacks & foods. Every month a box of goodies is shipped out to you filled with samples but also a couple of full sized products for you to try. I recently purchased a 3 month subscription & I thought I’d share with you what was in each box!
First of all, they included this little Soma Bite bar since I had loyalty points from the last time I held a subscription with them. It was pretty tasty considering how many nasties weren’t in it!
Now for the box! They really went all out for April! There was a green curry starter pack, a fibre blend of freekeh, lentils & beans, a couple of snack bars, chia bites, greens powder, absolutely delicious raw cacao hot chocolate sweetened with coconut blossom syrup & three little Madam Flavour tea tasters.
The first thing I tried with this gooey, honey covered fruit-free bar. It was so tasty – the perfect afternoon snack.
I’m not a huge tea drinker (ahem, French press superuser over here) but I always love Madame Flavour’s teas. The Afternoon in Paris one was unbelievably delicious with hints of vanilla & the Summer in Provence with it’s hints of citrus was so refreshing. I’m yet to try the Weekend in Monte-Carlo but I’m sure it’ll be equally scrumptious!
I didn’t take photos of everything in the box but this Green Curry soup starter had to be featured. I know, I know, it looks kind of, well, disappointing. But stay with me here! It was absolutely, so amazingly, good! The green curry broth was spicy & flavourful, the rice noodles were delicious &, since we added in sliced chicken & peas, it made enough for 3 people & was a filling, healthy dinner! We’ve also tried the Laksa in the same range & it’s also scrumptious & warming on these chilly Winter nights.
Here’s another photo that only made it to Insta & not to my good camera but I have to share with you Kokoluxe chocolate. Oh. My. Goodness. This stuff must be what they serve in Heaven when it’s chilly out. It is the most delicious hot chocolate I’ve ever tried! You have to go out & buy it! Not sponsored at all, it’s just that good!
Well, I didn’t want to take photos of everything in the box but needless to say all of the little snack bars were reasonably tasty & I haven’t tried the fibre blend but I’m planning on it! I’ll be back in a few weeks with May’s box!
