On Day 3 we took the drive down to the southern tip of Phuket island to have lunch at Rawai Beach. This was a place we’d discovered on our last trip to Phuket and we’d decided we simply had to return to. One side of the beach road is lined with fish markets, the other side with restaurants. You pick out and buy your freshly-caught fish from the markets then take it over to the restaurant where they cook it for you! The pearl markets at Rawai are also amazing!
