Navy & Pink in Waikiki

One thing I was definitely looking forward to was walking along the beach every morning for breakfast. We found some really lovely places (I’ll detail our favourite spots in a roundup coming soon) & ate some absolutely delicious (& probably calorie-laden food) every morning, generally sharing two large plates between the three of us. I’d forgotten how huge American serving sizes are! The weather was beautiful – it would be mild in the morning then heat up towards the afternoon which made poolside cocktails at 3pm a perfect idea!

WHY YOU NEED A TUNIC TOP

This top was one of the most frequently worn tops on this Hawaii trip. Why? Because it’s so light & comfortable. Made of linen, it allows you to breathe so you don’t get hot if it heats up unexpectedly but, if there’s a bit of a fresh morning breeze, the extra cover keeps you warm. The weather was a little changeable when we were in Hawaii – a couple of times the wind blew up & brought light rain with it. It usually wouldn’t bother me but combined with the wind, it could get a touch brisk if you were walking around in shorts & a tank top! Wearing the tunic top meant I could enjoy the weather but withstand those quick showers. Plus it’s also super cute!
