Ok, disclaimer time. I feel the cold really bad. Like there’s times when I’m sitting there in a jumper & socks up to my knees & the next person is in a t-shirt. It’s pretty drastic. You can’t really blame me though. I put it down to the fact that my birthday is in February which is my favourite time of the year (obviously). In Australia, February is literally the hottest most humid month. I’m taking temperatures in Sydney over 30 degrees Celsius most days (that’s high 80’s to 90’s for those using Fahrenheit – like I said hot) & crazy humidity. That’s my favourite kind of weather. I just don’t do well in the cold. That being said, I love rugging up against the elements. I picked up this tan field jacket at Zara a little while ago on one of my lunchtime shopping breaks (these have unfortunately come to an end now that I’m working in Woolloomooloo – for those not from Sydney, yes this is 100% the real name of the suburb, it’s a good one – It’s right on the edge of the CBD but is far away enough that it’s lunchtime shopping trips are now sadly out of the question). I wanted to pair it with a cozy scarf & a warm turtleneck for a chilly & windy day & it worked perfectly.
