{Setting off a lantern on the beach for good luck}

Phuket is always the most beautiful place to go to for a holiday where all you want to do is relax. This was the third time in three years that we’ve made the journey and I can see us going again next year for sure. Here is my run down of what to do in Phuket…

Where to stay: Kata Beach Resort & Spa.

Where to eat: Mali Restaurant, Black Pearl, The Old Siam (all closeby to Kata Beach Resort & Spa).

Where to get pampered: Darin Massage (across the road from Mali Restaurant).

Where to explore: Rawai, at the southern end of Phuket Island. Make sure to buy fish at the fish markets for lunch, then have a wander through the Pearl and Seashell Markets.

Where to go for post-dinner drinks: Surf House (you’re guaranteed to be awed by the professionals and encouraged by the newbies!).
